    Vibe-Guard™ Acoustic Interface Discs

Precision-stamped from our proprietary Vibe-Guard™ Viscoelastic Acoustic Elastomer, the Vibe-Guard™ Acoustic Interface Discs provide low-profile, zero-sag mechanical decoupling under stand-mount speakers, source gear, and heavy platforms. Engineered to eliminate acoustic smear and clarify imaging without squishy compliance or marring fine finishes. Now available in four precision diameters: 1", 1-1/8", 1-3/8", and 3-1/4".

Engineered Mechanical Decoupling Without Dynamic Smear

In high-resolution audio systems, micro-vibrations generated by loudspeaker enclosures, transformer hum, and structural room resonance travel freely through equipment racks, speaker stands, and furniture. This mechanical feedback blurs stereo imaging, muddies midrange vocals, and softens bass transients.

Unlike generic rubber bumpers or overly compliant, squishy gels that compress under load, Vibe-Guard™ Discs are formulated as a semi-firm, high-hysteresis boundary layer. This specialized crosslinked polymer dissipates vibrational energy into negligible thermal friction while maintaining absolute structural rigidity—anchoring your gear firmly without lean, sag, or cabinet rock.

    Three Mounting Configurations

    • No Adhesive (Loose Decoupling):

Zero residue. 100% pure decoupling. High-friction, non-skid surface that holds components firmly under their own weight. Perfect for non-invasive placement beneath delicate piano lacquer, vintage chassis footers, or fine solid hardwood platforms where mechanical mass alone anchors the interface.

    • Adhesive One Side (Single-Sided):

Secure placement with free-floating decoupling. Features an industrial-grade pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) on one face. Mounts permanently to the underside of component feet, spikes, speaker stand top plates, or platform bases while leaving the opposing face free to isolate against racks or floors.

    • Adhesive Both Sides (Double-Sided Bond):

Locked constrained-layer mechanical bond. Coated on both faces with high-tack PSA backing. Eliminates all physical drift and lateral shear, making it the premier choice for locking sub-plinths, heavy loudspeaker bases, and turntable motor pods into a unified, vibration-draining assembly.

    Ideal Applications

    • Reference Stand-Mount & Bookshelf Speakers: Placed between loudspeaker cabinets and rigid stand top plates. Eliminates stand resonance and prevents dynamic cabinet recoil during heavy bass transients.

    • Acoustic Isolation Platforms & Racks: Serves as a clean decoupling interface beneath solid hardwood, slate, or butcher block platforms and equipment credenzas.

    • Turntables & Analog Source Gear: Buffers isolated turntable motor pods, external power supplies, phono stages, and sensitive chassis assemblies against airborne acoustic feedback and structural footfall energy.

    • Large Mounting Flanges & Massive Sub-Plinths: Specifically accommodated by our heavy-duty 3-1/4" disc—providing wide-aperture mechanical damping beneath oversized turntable isolation bases, heavy floorstanding speaker outriggers, and massive monoblock amplifiers.

    • Preamps, DACs & Tube Electronics: Damps microphonic tube filaments and eliminates mechanical chassis vibration without altering component height or listening center lines.

    Key Features & Technical Specifications

    • Vibe-Guard™ Viscoelastic Acoustic Elastomer:  Engineered with the identical, proven damping formulation utilized in our multi-layer acoustic platforms. Mechanically interrupts resonant transmission paths and converts kinetic energy into harmless thermal dissipation.

    • Ultra-Low Profile (1/8" Thickness): Delivers reference-grade decoupling in a discreet 1/8" (3.2mm) footprint. Preserves critical tweeter listening height on speaker stands and maintains low center-of-gravity stability.

    • Zero Sag / Anti-Rock Foundation: Specifically calibrated to resist excessive compliance and compression set. Will not bottom out, squish out, or allow speaker cabinets to rock under heavy woofer excursion—preserving leading-edge dynamic impact.

    • Non-Staining, Finish-Safe Chemistry: 100% chemically inert. Contains zero plasticizers, oils, or sulfur found in typical Sorbothane, neoprene, or cheap synthetic rubber pads. Safe for direct contact with expensive high-gloss piano lacquer, satin finishes, and hand-rubbed fine hardwoods.

    • Manufacturing: Precision-stamped and hand-inspected in Vernon, California, USA.
